Manchester United have officially said goodbye to defender Will Fish.
The 21 year old has joined Championship side Cardiff City.
The Red Devils have agreed a £1 million fixed fee with the value of the transfer potentially rising to £3 million according to The Athletic.
As part of the deal, “United have included a buyback option and a 30 per cent sell on clause for Fish.”
He becomes the latest youth player to be moved on this summer with similar buy back and/or sell on fee type deals.
Fellow academy players, Facundo Pellistri, Willy Kambwala and Maxi Oyedele have all left on similar terms in this transfer window.
The club announced the deal on X and wrote “best of luck with your next steps Will Fish”, before confirming the permanent nature of his switch.

The Mancunian became the 240th academy member to represent the club when he came on as a late substitute versus Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2020/2021 campaign.
The 21 year old first went on loan to Stockport County but really made a name for himself in the Scottish Premier League where he was an ever-present in the Hibernian side.
He would end up playing 66 times for the Edinburgh based side, scoring four goals over the course of two seasons.
Fish will aim to continue his fine form from last year in the objectively tougher league of the Championship and will probably have aspirations to return to the Premier League in the not so distant future, either with Cardiff or another side.
With the purchases of Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt this summer, alongside the fact Jonny Evans signed a new one year deal and Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire seem likely to stay at the club, his chances of breaking into the first team were effectively reduced to zero.
