Manchester United have welcomed Caleb Sweeney to Carrington for a trial.
With a number of academy signings already secured this summer, United aren’t resting on their laurels as they look to swoop up another talent in Sweeney.
The 15 year old is a youth international for Northern Ireland and is currently with Larne FC.
A defensive midfielder by trade, Sweeney has impressed with his two-footedness at the heart of midfield, being heralded by TheSecretScout as one of the best in his age group.

Despite the trial, it is unknown yet if any move would be made permanent.
United have taken several players on trial in the past year, including Dante Plunkett, who recently signed scholarship terms with the club.
But other triallists have also included Mason Cotcher, who recently signed with Aston Villa, and another Northern Irish youth international in Coran Madden, who so far remains with Cliftonville in Northern Ireland.
United have been busy securing the signatures of young talent though this summer, with seven new names added.
James Overy, Samuel Lusale, and Chido Obi-Martin have all been signed to the u18s as they wait for Premier League ratification in order to be cleared to play.
The son of Robert Earnshaw, Silva Mexes, has signed with the u15s where he has already been impressing with his name on the scoresheet during the summer’s friendlies.

Perhaps most excitingly, United have reportedly captured the signature of Mali u17s international star Sekou Kone, who is expected to join up with the u21s before being eased into the first team.
In Sweeney’s age group, Camron Mpofu was also signed from Reading.
Sweeney will now be hoping he has done enough to impress the staff at United to make his stay at Carrington more than temporary.
