Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho is reportedly set to undergo his medical with Juventus as early as this Friday.
After days of speculation over his future amidst links to Juventus and Premier League rivals Chelsea, a recent report covered by The Peoples Person claimed that the former have won the race to sign him.
RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins revealed that United and Juventus reached a loan agreement that would see Sancho complete a switch to the Serie A.
It’s believed that the loan deal includes an obligation to buy the forward at the end of the 2024/25 season.
Hawkins noted that Sancho is keen on playing for the Old Lady.
Italian journalist Mirko Nicolino has given a slight update on Sancho’s situation and indicated that he could travel to Turin in the next few hours to sign off on personal terms.
Nicolino wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Juventus hopes to close for Jadon Sancho between today and tomorrow, having already scheduled the medical visits for Friday morning.”

Should the transfer get over the line, it would bring an end to Sancho’s troublesome three-year spell at Old Trafford.
The England international has barely lived up to the massive £73m sum United forked out to secure his services from Borussia Dortmund.
Since joining United, Sancho has made 83 appearances. During that period he only managed 18 goal contributions, with his best return of six strikes coming in the 2022/23 campaign.
He fell out with Erik ten Hag last term, forcing United to sanction a loan move back to Dortmund, where he helped the club reach the Champions League final.
The 24-year-old and Ten Hag resolved their differences earlier in the summer but following his exclusion from United’s matchday squads to face Fulham and more recently Brighton, it became clear that Sancho does not feature highly in the Dutchman’s plans for the future.
